 Sister MacAdam is a highly qualified and experienced nurse able to deal with minor conditions and will refer you to a doctor if required. She holds certificates in Family Planning and can issue Repeat Prescriptions for oral contraception and offer general contraception advice. Carry out Cervical Screening. She can also advise on healthy travel and immunisations as well as general health promotion issues with specific expertise in diabetic and respiratory problems.


Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. The practice nurses run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma or diabetes, minor ailment clinics and carry out cervical smears.

Health Practitioners

Katherine Bryan is our primary care mental health nurse: If you are finding it hard to feel positive or feel you need support because of grief, anxiety or low mood. Elizabeth works with us on Monday and Tuesdays.

Suzanne Miller Our Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner is available for any muscle, bone or joint concerns.  The Physio can assess, diagnose and refer for further treatment. She is at Orchard House on Fridays.

Louise Doyle Our new Advanced Nurse Practitioner  has now joined our team. She will be working in the surgery on Thursday and Fridays to help with medical problems such as ENT complaints, skin issues and a lot more.
