Our GP Practice Team is growing: Our Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner - Suzanne Miller is available for any muscle, bone or joint concerns.  The Physio can assess, diagnose and refer for further treatment. You can make an appointment with the Physio on Fridays.

Our new Advanced Nurse Practitioner Louise Doyle has now joined our team. She will be working in the surgery on Thursday and Fridays to help with medical problems such as ENT complaints, skin issues and a lot more.

We now have appointments available with our new Mental Health Nurse - Elizabeth McAteer.  If you are finding it hard to feel positive or feel you need support because of grief, anxiety or low mood then please contact the surgery and ask for an appointment with Elizabeth on a Monday or Tuesday.

Repeat Prescriptionsorange_pills

Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:

  • In person - drop your repeat slip in the box provided with the required items clearly marked.
  • By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
  • By telephone - call our prescription hotline on 01786 446503 and leave the details on the answering machine. Please include name, address, items required and preferred method of collection/delivery.
  • Online - follow the link at the top of this page and complete a simple one-off registration.

Pharmacy Collection service

Most of the local chemists now offer a direct prescription collection service. Please enquire at your local outlet if you would like to be included in the scheme.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Patients using the postal service should allow longer
